It seems he Shatsky the bed.
Ukrainian officials took credit for the elimination of a Russian AI and missile scientist by the name of Mikhail Shatsky who was found dead in a Moscow public park.
Mr. Shatsky was part of the prestigious Mars design bureau and was reportedly pushing for the extensive integration of Artificial Intelligence and the generalized cyberneticization of the Russian armed forces, making him particularly dangerous. He was also directly involved in the modernization of the cruise missiles that have been striking Ukrainian civilians.
The operation was attributed to the notorious Main Directorate of Intelligence, whose special operatives reportedly carried it out through the simple expedient of gun violence. No fancy exploding cars this time around like with the SBU hit on Valery Trankovsky.

The Mars design bureau is especially concerned with the development of automatic control and navigation systems for air and spacecraft.
Improved navigation systems are particularly dangerous because they increase the accuracy of Russian air and missile strikes, which until recently had been terrible. Improvements in those areas lead directly to increased casualties on the Ukrainian side, so it isn’t hard to guess at the motivations behind the hit.
Striking so brazenly in the middle of Moscow with an over the top method like shooting is also clearly calculated to send a message to the Russians: “We can strike you anywhere, any time, any way. None of you are safe even in the capital.”
I’ve never been so glad not to be a Russian scientist.
